Heracles Energy asked Stoke to conceptualize a vertically integrated alternative fuels company that sources, refines and distributes liquid natural gas.
Challenge
The alternative energy category has become increasingly populated – and decreasingly differentiable – with "green energy" companies seemingly everywhere.
Heracles saw the opportunity to exploit its high technical acuity and develop a services infrastructure to target customers with unique energy needs.
Outcome
Stoke developed a brand name, logo identity and visual system for Plum Energy.
The name Plum was a selected as "a symbol of good fortune, prosperity and productivity; also meaning a highly desirable position or to acquire a choice assignment."
The design system features a dominant, associative color to increase recognition and recall of the brand name.
The program was extended to marketing collateral, digital media and the vehicle livery.
