Background
Responding to financial investors’ need to diversify their real estate portfolios, Candesco was formed as an investment and joint-development firm. The group specializes in rapidly developing markets, including Peru and Vietnam.
Challenge
Research revealed that portfolio managers and large institutional investors were attracted by the opportunity for high-yield, short-cycle, mid-cap investments. However, the firm needed to overcome concerns from investors with a deficit of experience with emerging economies, or critical misperceptions about the viability and stability of overseas markets.
Outcome
The firm developed and designed a three-phase "Investment Analytics" program, establishing the degree of intellectual rigor, investor consideration and market expertise that supported each development portfolio.
Stoke developed a brand position for the firm based on broadening the horizon for real estate interests, and illuminating new opportunities for investment.
Stoke’s design team used the "Torch-Bearer" metaphor to drive creative solutions – providing illumination and guidance into emerging markets.
The name Candesco (Latin for "shine") was selected. A new corporate logo and visual identity system was developed for print and digital media applications.
