Founded in 2007, we are headquartered in the quirky-cool Seattle neighborhood of Ballard. A place known for its Fishermen (Deadliest Catch-style), Farmer's Market (featured in the New York Times) and Akvavit (the Scandinavian liquor involved in Stoke employee initiations).
The name "Stoke" was inspired by two meanings. The literal definition is "to fuel or tend to a fire." As a brand design firm, we provoke new thinking and catalyze change.
The more colloquial meaning is "to be completely and intensely enthusiastic or excited about something; to pursue your passion." That's how we approach our work, and how we want the market to feel about our clients' brands.
We believe that bringing strategy and design together permits us to capture the imagination of business. And that's what we love to do.
